  • Remember the gaps between Babs' gloves and arms?  Lets fill those using a modified mori-mori technique.<br />

Mori-Mori is a putty used by Japanese modelers, kinda like our Aves.  The idea is to coat one side of the join with something that the putty won't stick to.  I've used Vaseline and Chapstick at different times, but its always messy and I have to clean up the greasy stuff before I can sand and paint.  I heard Tom Grossman mention using Parafilm once during a seminar, so I thought I'd give it a try.<br />

Limber up a piece of Parafilm and stretch it tightly over the surface of her glove where it makes contact with her forearm.<br />

  • Apply a little Aves Safety Solvent and shape the Aves so that it blends with the muscles of her forearms and lays flat against her glove.  Note the plug of Aves that I used to fill the drilled for the pin in her arm.  This will also be smoothed with Safety Solvent.
